How Carter Machinery Co Ltd uses details and photographs submitted through the machinery enquiry forms.
We collect the contact details, machine information, site and access details, and photographs you choose to submit. We use these to assess your request, arrange an inspection where appropriate, and discuss a potential purchase or valuation assignment.
Submissions and photographs are stored privately and are available through Carter’s restricted enquiry inbox. They are not automatically published, added to the stock catalogue, or used to subscribe you to marketing.
Our website hosting provider processes the information to operate the upload and storage service. Collection or valuation arrangements may require information to be shared with the relevant service providers; we will discuss those arrangements with you. Please avoid including unrelated people, bank details or sensitive documents in photographs.

Workshop quizzes store a hashed version of your email, the quiz attempted, time and result to enforce one attempt per email. Your email is not added to a marketing list. Reward codes are stored with their expiry and the order that uses them. These records are retained to administer the quizzes, prevent repeat redemption and support order enquiries. An essential session cookie is used to submit the form securely. Photographs are not stored in your browser after submission.
